Trip Overview
The ultimate thrill of a Bungee jump can now be experienced in Nepal at perhaps the best site in the world. Nepal’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the wild Bhote Koshi river, and located close to the Nepal-Tibet border, a three-hour bus ride from Kathmandu. You experience a chilling free fall as you jump into a 160 m deep Gorge from a suspension bridge over the fast flowing Bhote Koshi River. The jump, at 160m, was designed by New Zealand’s bungee consultant where as Swiss designed the bungee bridge, especially for bungee jumping. Thus, the bridge and the ropes used in the bungee jumping will not be the matter to take tension while doing such bungee jumping. This bungee jump is the world well known bungee jumping sites because it is located in natural home of mountain range and one of the highest bridge bungee.
Trip Itinerary
From Kathmandu, we will drive early in the morning towards the last resort or so called the ultimate bungee spot. The drive will take about 3 hours from Kathmandu.
We have to be prepared for the bungee jumping. We will do the bungee jumping. This remarkable 500ft (160m) drop into the Bhote Koshi River gorge on the Nepal/Tibet Border is the longest free fall in the world. After that we will spend some of our quality time at the banks of the Bhote Koshi River. If someone is interested then he/she can do the river Canyoning, rafting, kayaking and other several river activities.
After that, we will have lunch in The Last Resort.
We will return back to the Kathmandu viewing the wonderful sceneries of the surroundings. After the drive for about 3 hours we will be at the Kathmandu.
