Tourism has been among the hardest hit of all segments by the COVID-19 pandemic. No nation has been unaffected. Restrictions on travel and a sudden drop in customer request have driven to an exceptional drop in international tourism numbers, which in turn have led to financial loss and the loss of jobs.

 On this World Tourism Day, the COVID-19 pandemic speaks to an opportunity to rethink long-term of the tourism segment, including how it contributes to the sustainable development goals, through its social, social, political, and economic value. Tourism can eventually help us move past the pandemic, by bringing individuals together and promoting solidarity and believe – significant fixings in advancing the worldwide cooperation so critically required at this time.
